The shadow man outside scares the kid version of us, causing him to run away and try to hide. We are then brought to a big house with a little kid in front of us playing with toys (which is us). As for the end of the cutscene, we see the neighbor crying at the missing posters with the shadow looking at him. I believe that the daughter died somehow and since that the son was in the basement, the neighbor called the cops and lied saying that his two children were missing. when we beat him there is then a cutscene of a factory with millions of missing signs. We decided to take a nap which leads to a nightmare of the neighbor still being alive and we try to get to his basement to save his son? Later on we get to this room with the son in it and then we fight a giant version of the neighbor which is maybe showing how much power the neighbor has over us but we are able to fight back. The neighbors house is broken down and old because he died. we move away and then later on we are evicted so we move back to our old house. We then escape and see the neighbor giving us a sinister look as we hear crashing from the house, probably from the son escaping. In Act 2 (i think), if you look through the keyhole, you see the cardboard cutout of the son who unlocks the door which allows us to escape. the neighbor caught us and kidnapped us because he was afraid we would go to the cops. We were just playing on the street when we heard a scream from the neighbors house and we got curious so we decided to take a look (perhaps the neighbor was then putting his son in the basement either to protect him since he maybe killed the daughter or out of anger that he took the daughter away from the neighbor?). I believe that he is the one starting the ride because it is in his perspective of how things are. Along with the ride cutscene, when you first enter to sit in the car, the cardboard cutout of a boy(the son?) is starting the ride. The son was terrified of what would happen now so he pushed the daughter into the basement to protect her (In the ride cutscene, the girl is being pushed into the basement). When the wife died, the sons whole life was flipped upside down.
But then one day, the wife and neighbor were driving to go somewhere but crashed into a pizza truck, causing the wife to die. Here’s my theory of what’s going on: Okay so first, there once was a happy family of the neighbor, his wife, his daughter, and his son.
